What is Cambridge Mathematics?
Cambridge Mathematics is an organisation rethinking support for curriculum design in mathematics. We are developing a flexible and interconnected digital Framework to help reimagine mathematics education 3-19. Our design process is transparent, collaborative and research- and evidence-informed. Cambridge University Press as part of Cambridge Mathematics, we think mathematics learning 3-19 can be more connected and coherent and we are providing a structure to make this happen. We are working with specialists in mathematics education all over the world and expect to have an initial version ready by 2020.
What did we do?
We hosted Cambridge India Mathematics Symposium to discuss, debate and collaborate on issues and innovations in maths curricula.
We are brought together key Indian mathematicians, educators and employers to deliberate on the purpose of school mathematics, the design of the intended curricula and searching for Delight in Mathematics at the prestigious Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai
