Its been great to be part of teachers of tomorrow sharing ones insight and feelings as well as experinces so far. At the same time I am thankful of Foundation world school for giving me this opportunity as I am a kind of person who loves to write and expres more than writing.
Today’s topic focuses on creating a peaceful environment in schools, an urgent necessity in the present world. As we observe increasing challenges and crises at home and within society, fostering tranquility and harmony in educational spaces has become more crucial than ever. A peaceful environment nurtures growth and development. For a child who faces neglect at home, it offers the care and support they deeply long for. In this context, the teacher holds a vital responsibility in creating a safe and nurturing space for the child.
A child will open up and share their thoughts and feelings only after developing trust and building a strong rapport with their teacher. Therefore, it is essential to handle such situations with great sensitivity, ensuring confidentiality. If necessary, the information should only be shared with a counselor, never casually or for amusement.
In conclusion, being a teacher is an ongoing journey of spreading peace, happiness, joy, and smiles to all. Islam, which signifies peace, emphasizes these values, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provide us with timeless guidance for fostering harmony and well-being in every aspect of life.
