Cambridge University Press India (CUP), part of the University of Cambridge, has been bestowed with the prestigious, ?Promising Brands of 2017- 18? award by The Economic Times. The award was presented to CUP in a ceremony held on March 23, 2018, in Mumbai.

The Economic Times, one of the leading financial publications, instituted these awards to felicitate and recognise the valuable contributions by various organisations and brands which have stood firm in their effort and commitment towards globalisation and have truly integrated themselves in the outgrowing culture and day-to-day lives.

Receiving the award, Preeti Hingorani, Vice President – Brand, Cambridge University Press, South Asia said, ?We are extremely delighted and honoured to have been recognised as one of the most promising brands of 2017-18 by India?s leading financial daily, The Economic Times. Publishing is a dynamic industry and digital expertise, a willingness to take risks and adapt quickly to change, sensitivity to the need of customers, and an ability to think globally are key to success. As a brand, CUP continues to strive towards achieving the highest academic standards and is committed to the spread of knowledge.?

The nominations were judged by an eminent panel of ET?S intelligence team. The panel shortlisted the nominations on parameters such as innovation, substantial publicly available data about the company, brand awareness, consumer satisfaction, consistency in customer experience, value proposition, advocacy and positive economic profits associated with the brand.
