The purpose of The Cambridge Teachers of Tomorrow website, a Cambridge University Press & Assessment India Private Limited (the “Cambridge”) site is to build a community of teachers and educators to engage and interact and share their experience.
It provides an online environment within which you can interact with others in your profession and allows you to participate in surveys, discussions, contribute in form of articles and activities related to teaching and education. References to “we”, “us” and “our” should be construed as references to the Cambridge.
Definitions:
User” or “You” or “Your” refers to you, as a user of the website. A user is someone who accesses or uses this website for the purpose of sharing details or uploading articles, information or views or pictures, and online activities.
Content:
Content will include (but not limited to) any of the following viz. text, images, photos, audio, video, and all other forms of information or data. “Your content” or “User Content” means content that you upload, share or transmit to, through or in connection with the website, such as articles, ratings, reviews, images, photos, messages, profile information, online activities and any other materials that you publicly display or displayed in your account profile. ”
Cambridge content” means content that the Cambridge creates and make available in connection with the website including, but not limited to, visual interfaces, interactive features, graphics, articles, design, compilation, computer code, products, aggregate ratings, reports and other usage-related data in connection with activities associated with your account and all other elements and components of the Services excluding Your Content and third party content.
“Third Party Content” means content that comes from parties other than the Cambridge or its users.
AGREEMENT TO USE OUR PANEL
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) together with our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms which might apply to certain products or services, including the Recollective Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy, govern your use of and explain the terms on which the Cambridge provides you with access to The Cambridge Teachers of Tomorrow at www.connectedtot.com (the TOT Community).
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using or registering to use the TOT community.
By accessing or using the TOT Community you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the TOT Community. You are responsible for bringing these Terms to the attention of anyone who may read material on this community as a result of your access to it.
You hereby represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or above and are fully able and competent to understand and agree the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms.
You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations when you access and use the Services. You agree to use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law, and in a manner that does not violate our legal rights or those of any third party.
ACCESSING OUR SERVICES AND OUR CONTENT
The community is available to use free of charge. You will need to register to gain access to the community.
Please note that the usage terms, purchase terms, and privacy policies of various Cambridge University Press & Assessment products and services within the TOT Community or linked to the community may be subject to more specific terms and policies. Please check those terms and policies frequently to determine the terms applicable to such products and services. If there is a conflict between those more specific terms and conditions and these Terms, then the more specific terms and conditions will apply.

We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page.
Please check this page from time to time as any such changes are binding on you. Your continued use of the TOT community shall be deemed to constitute your agreement to any such changes.

Contributions for articles
The opinions expressed in articles are the author’s own and do not reflect the view of Cambridge or Cambridge Teachers of Tomorrow community as a whole.
We do not guarantee that the website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
We do not guarantee that the website, or any part of it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to the website is permitted on a temporary and as is basis. We may suspend or change all or any part of the website without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason the Panel is unavailable at any time or for any period.

We are the owner or licensee of the intellectual property rights in the content, materials and logos published on the TOT community. The content is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You cannot modify, reproduce, publicly display or exploit in any form or manner whatsoever any of the Cambridge content in whole or in part except as expressly authorized by the Cambridge.
The Cambridge shall not be liable for any infringement of copyright arising out of materials posted on or transmitted through the website, or items advertised on the website by end users or any other third parties. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and require those that use the Services to do the same. We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, remove or disable access to material on the Services that infringes upon the copyright rights of others. We also may, in our discretion, remove or disable links or references to an online location that contains infringing material or infringing activity. In the event that any users of the Services repeatedly infringe on others’ copyrights, we may in our sole discretion terminate those individuals’ rights to use the Services.
PRIVACY POLICY
If you supply personal details to us through the website then you consent to us maintaining, recording and using such personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
YOUR ACCOUNT
Where you have registered on the TOT Community and have been provided with a username and password (“Your Account”), you agree to keep confidential your logins, username and/or password, and to be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from use of your password by a third party.
If there has been a disclosure of your username and/or password, you agree to notify us promptly of such disclosure, so that we can take appropriate security measures and provide you with a new username and password.
We have the right to suspend or terminate access to the TOT community at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with, or are in breach of, any of the provisions of these Terms.
We have the right to suspend or terminate Your Account if there are periods of inactivity.
If Your Account is suspended or terminated by Us for any reason(s) as outlined in these Terms, You can request to be reinstated to the TOT community by request on

PERMITTED USES
You may use the TOT Community only for lawful purposes.
If you access any part of the website you agree that you will not use the TOT Community:
- in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
- in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm anyone including but not limited to minors, any community or country in any way;
- in such a way that disrupts, interferes with or restricts the use of the community by other users;
- to transmit or procure the sending of any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (‘spam’);
- to transmit knowingly any data, or send or upload any material, that contains viruses, trojans, worms or any other computer code, programs or files designed to destroy, interrupt or limit the functionality of any computer, computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
- to gain unauthorised access to the community, the server on which the community is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the community
You must ensure that any materials uploaded, displayed or transmitted by you through or to the TOT community are not false, offensive, defamatory, threatening, obscene or unlawful and do not breach or infringe the rights of any person anywhere in the world.
If there is breach of any of the above conditions, Cambridge shall have the right to suspend or delete the material or suspend or terminate the access of your account immediately without any information.
UPLOADING CONTENT TO OUR TOT Community website:
Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload content/contribute via article, whitepaper, comments, etc to the TOT Community, or to make contact with other users of the community, you must comply with the ‘Permitted Uses’ set out above.
Any content you upload to the community will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We reserve the right to use any of Your content for marketing purposes. You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but you are required to grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, assignable, royalty free and global license to use, operate, store, copy, modify and sub-license that content and to distribute and make it available to third parties. You waive any moral rights in respect of any such content unless stated otherwise in these Terms or any other Cambridge site specific terms of use.
We have the right to remove any posting you make on the TOT community if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with these Terms.
You are responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you are the sole author of, own, or otherwise control all of the rights of Your Content or have been granted explicit permission from the right’s holder to submit Your Content; Your Content was not copied from or based in whole or in part on any other content, work, or website; Your Content was not submitted via the use of any automated process such as a script bot; use of Your Content by us, Third Party Services, and our and their third party users will not violate or infringe any rights of yours or any third party; Your Content is truthful and accurate; and Your Content does not violate the Terms or any applicable laws.
You assume all risks associated with Your Content, including anyone’s reliance on its quality, accuracy, or reliability, or any disclosure by you of information in Your Content that makes you personally identifiable. While we reserve the right to remove content, we do not control actions or content posted by our users and do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of any content. You acknowledge and agree that content posted by users and any and all liability arising from such content is the sole responsibility of the user who posted the content, and not us.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Whilst all Users are able to access the activities and content on the TOT community, all activities and content are confidential and you agree not to disclose them outside of the TOT community (save as may be mentioned in these Terms).
MESSAGES BOARDS/ COMMENTS/FORUMS
Some of the pages on the TOT Community may contain message boards, bulletin boards, chat pages/Comments or other forums in which users are able to post messages for viewing by others. Community Moderators will be moderating the content posted on the TOT community, and have the right to remove Users if the content falls outside the scope of these Terms. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove, block, or disable access to any content that we, for any reason or no reason, consider to be objectionable, in violation of the Terms or otherwise harmful to the Services or our users in our sole discretion. Subject to the requirements of applicable law, we are not obligated to return any of Your Content to you under any circumstances. Any review, which is derogatory, defamatory or hateful and without any substantial evidence (e.g. photograph or video) may be taken down at our sole discretion.
If you become aware that any posted material on those pages or any activities carried out on those pages are offensive, unlawful or infringe any third party rights in any way please send an appropriately worded message to one of the Community Moderators using the TOT’s message functionality. We shall then act expeditiously to remove any such material or to disable access to the information.
LIMITATION OF OUR LIABILITY
We will not be liable to any User for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with use of, or inability to use the Panel or use of or reliance on any content displayed on the website
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to the TOT Community or any content on it, whether express or implied.
However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Indian law.
INDEMNIFICATION:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Cambridge from and against any third party claims, damages (actual and/or consequential), actions, proceedings, demands, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) suffered or reasonably incurred by us arising as a result of, or in connection with: (i) Your Content, (ii) your unauthorized use of the Services, or products or services included or advertised in the Services; (iii) your access to and use of the Services; (iv) your violation of any rights of another party; or (v) your breach of these Terms, including, but not limited to, any infringement by you of the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party. We retain the exclusive right to settle, compromise and pay, without your prior consent, any and all claims or causes of action which are brought against us. We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us and you agree to cooperate with our defense of these claims. You agree not to settle any matter in which we are named as a defendant and/or for which you have indemnity obligations without our prior written consent. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action or proceeding upon becoming aware of it.
TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCESS TO THE SERVICES
You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us via the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of every page or by clicking here, and ceasing further use of the Services.
We may terminate your use of the Services and deny you access to the Services in our sole discretion for any reason or no reason, including your: (i) violation of these Terms; or (ii) lack of use of the Services. You hereby agree and acknowledge that any termination of your access to the Services may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that we may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and/or bar any further access to your account or the Services. If you use the Services in violation of these Terms, we may, in our sole discretion, retain all data collected from your use of the Services. Further, you agree that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for the discontinuation or termination of your access to the Services.
PARTNERSHIP OR AGENCY
None of the provisions of this User Terms of Agreement shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between you and Cambridge and you shall have no authority to bind Cambridge in any form or manner, whatsoever. Neither party shall have the authority to act for, represent any affiliation with or assume any obligation or liability on behalf of the other party except in accordance with any authority as is expressly conferred herein

APPLICABLE LAW
The Agreement shall be governed by the Laws of India. The Courts of Law at Delhi/New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under this agreement.
Any waiver by Cambridge of a breach committed by you of any provision of this Agreement shall not operate as or be construed to be a waiver of any other breach of such provision or of any breach of any other provision of this Agreement or a waiver of any other rights that it may have against the other. The failure of Cambridge to insist upon strict adherence to any term of this Agreement on one or more occasions shall neither be considered a waiver nor deprive it of any right to insist on strict adherence to such term or any other term of this agreement.
