Leadership Unfolded

Leadership is an important aspect of demonstrating the correct direction to his/her staff in realizing the objectives of an organization. The different leadership theories viz. traits theory, behavioural and situational theories provide useful insights in comprehending the different aspects of leadership styles. With such theoretical foundations, leadership research gains a new horizon, as with such theories, the emphasis has been moving from “what leaders are”, and „what leaders do‟ to the level of “how a leader behave in different situation”. One must be acquainted with the latest dynamic trends of leadership to contribute to the world.

I have a rich background in education, particularly in the field of English language and literature. Over the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of teaching English at various government colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, nurturing young minds and fostering a love for the language and literature. Additionally, I have served as an Assistant Professor of English, further honing my expertise in the subject.

Currently,I am dedicated to guiding students through AS & A2 levels as an English teacher, ensuring they grasp the intricacies of the language and excel in their academic pursuits. Alongside teaching, I have contributed to the academic community through my research endeavours, with several published papers to my name. I have also actively engaged in workshops and seminars, continuously enhancing my knowledge and pedagogical skills.

Outside of academia, I find joy in immersing myself in a diverse array of literature, exploring different genres and perspectives. This not only enriches my own understanding but also informs and inspires my teaching practices. Overall, my passion for teaching English literature and language, coupled with my commitment to scholarly pursuits and personal interests, drives me to make meaningful contributions both inside and outside the classroom.
