Our expert for the month is Rachael Horsman from Cambridge Mathematics. Rachael is leading the writing and strategy development for Cambridge Mathematics.
She has also run and designed teacher training workshops and curriculum development projects in the UK and abroad. And has also authored several resource/textbook publications. In addition, she is the current chair of the Teaching Committee of the Mathematical Association. Rachel is in the process of completing an MPhil at the Centre for Research in Mathematics Education where she is investigating the structures of knowledge that teachers bring to the classroom.
Rachael recently conducted interactive workshops with teachers in Chennai and Mumbai on Active Learning in Maths.
