Positive Schooling

Dear all,

Greetings of the day!

We see some students coming to school happily and some keep on weeping and crying for some days. Gradually they are involved in classroom activities and are streamlined. Here teacher and school plays a crucial role. And from here the term Positive Schooling comes into picture.

Positive Schooling:    It is a concept to create environment that fosters both academic success and personal growth. It  is based on  the principles of positive psychology. Positive schooling involves nurturing human values.

I have tried to ignite the spark. In my next post, I will talk about positive education.

  1. A few which I put to practice for my domain are usually a ‘contextually relevant’ anecdote (for GP, Business) or some current affair update. Awaiting updates / tactics from author (and other readers) to initiate things in classroom.

  2. Positive schooling is essential for both students and educators as it fosters a supportive, engaging, and motivating environment. For students, it promotes emotional well-being, resilience, and a love of learning, leading to better academic outcomes and personal growth. For educators, it creates a professional atmosphere where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to innovate and excel in their teaching. This enhances their job satisfaction and effectiveness. By prioritizing positive schooling, we cultivate a community where both students and educators can thrive, leading to a more enriching and successful educational experience for all.

Also I strongly believe in positive schooling that includes fair and competitive compensation for staff. Paying educators well acknowledges their hard work, dedication, and the critical role they play in shaping future generations. Adequate pay enhances job satisfaction, reduces turnover, and attracts high-quality teachers, creating a stable and motivated workforce. When educators feel financially secure and valued, it positively impacts their performance and the learning experience of students. Thus, investing in competitive salaries for educators is an integral part of fostering a positive and effective schooling environment.
